Dr. Kornmüller studied environmental engineering at the Technical University of Berlin and received her doctor`s degree in the field of process engineering. Subsequently, she was managing director of a collaborative research center for wastewater treatment within the textile, mineral oil, electroplating and chemical industry.

After change to industry, Dr. Kornmüller worked for more than ten years as head of department for development and industrial property protection of an international water treatment engineering group of companies.

Her major technical focus is on plant engineering, water treatment, marine technology, shipping, energy supply, chemical and mechanical process engineering, environmental and bioprocess engineering, measuring technologies and agriculture.
