Mr. Weidner studied precision engineering at the school of engineering Glashütte/Sachs as well as “Intellectual Property Rights” within postgraduate studies at the Humboldt-University Berlin.

Since 1975, he is engaged within the scope of intellectual property rights. Mr. Weidner worked for a large company in the range of office and information engineering. At last he held the position as the manager of the internal patent division.

1993 he set up as Patent Attorney. In 2003 Mr. Weidner associated with Patent Attorney Wolfgang Stern and established the patent law office WEIDNER STERN.
